Experts conducted a study and found that the drug is effective in combating other serious diseases, writes the Daily Mail.

The drug thins the blood and reduces the risk of blood clots. The experiment involved 140 patients of different sexes who took part in a screening study of oncology for 13 years. As a result of the trial, scientists learned that aspirin is also beneficial for the prevention of breast and bladder cancer. With the use of aspirin three times a week, the threat of oncology of the breast and bladder is reduced in the first case by a quarter, and in the second – by a third. But doctors advise to first consult with specialists and undergo an examination.

People who used aspirin had a 25% lower risk of dying from cancer than those who never took the drug.

However, it is worth noting that aspirin does not reduce the risk of developing the disease and does not treat other types of cancer, the drug affects the likelihood of death. The harm from the use of aspirin is also noted – it can cause dangerous stomach bleeding.
