The Russian government officially approved the list of foreign states committing unfriendly actions… The document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information of the Russian Federation, zakon.kz reports.

The list includes two countries – the United States and the Czech Republic.

Today, the Czech Republic and the United States are considered by the Russian leadership as the most obvious examples of unfriendly countries, but in the future this list, apparently, will be expanded. This is the opinion of Andrey Kortunov, Director General of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC).

The scandal of the Czech Republic and Russia around the explosion at the ammunition depot is still heard, and the United States is perceived by Moscow as the leader of anti-Russian demarches in the West, ” RBC quotes the expert.

Among the likely candidates for the list of unfriendly countries, Kortunov named the Baltic and Central European countries, as well as some post-Soviet states. According to Kortunov, diplomatic restrictions and the compilation of lists of unfriendly countries are unlikely to cause serious additional damage to relations with the West.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Moscow would not indiscriminately include any country on this list – such decisions would be made on the basis of a deep analysis of the situation and identifying opportunities to deal with the country in an alternative way.
