As the expert explained, long parking with inverted wheels is harmful for a car. Such parking reduces the resource of the constant angular velocity joints of the wheels, and for a car with power steering it leads to accelerated wear of this system.

In such cars, when parking with inverted wheels, the booster pump and other components will receive an increased load. This leads to their accelerated wear. It is also possible damage to the oil pipes, which can crack due to excessive tension or even burst.

Serebryakov noted that parking with turned-out wheels is not prohibited for vehicles with electric power steering. However, in the material of the portal it is emphasized that the type of steering booster does not affect the operation of the constant velocity joints, in which the elastic bands stretch and lose elasticity during long parking with the wheels turned out. The wear of the rubber bands, in turn, leads to more serious suspension problems.
