Information about the new Lada Niva, which will be released in 2024, has spread online. According to “Autoreview”, the crossover will be a hybrid of AVTOVAZ and French-Japanese alliance technologies, zakon.kz reports with reference to kolesa.kz.

It is known that Niva owns the CMF-B platform. The length of the SUV is slightly more than 4.3 meters, and the size of the wheelbase is 2.6 meters. The car is also offered with a clearance of 240 millimeters.

Under the hood will be installed 1.3-liter turbocharged engine of the Alliance and a 1.8-liter atmospheric engine made in Russia. The second engine is powered by a 6-speed manual or variator. And for the first unit only a ladder without a ladder is available.

The Lada Niva does not have a front-wheel drive version, but two all-wheel drive versions are offered. It is planned to connect the rear axle with an electromagnetic clutch in a conventional vehicle. For the off-road version, the masters are developing a gearbox with a two-board friction package.
