Another high-profile case with financial pyramids is being investigated in Almaty, reports zakon.kz.

According to Almaty.tv, on February 11, dozens of depositors came to storm the office of L-Capital. People say that they transferred millions to the accounts of the company, but they did not receive either their money or the promised interest.

According to preliminary data, almost 15 thousand people were affected by the actions of fraudsters.

All these people were deceived according to the same scheme, offering to invest in securities. Those who came to storm the company’s office today invested more than a million of their savings here. For example, the spouses Rysbek and Indira sold their “kopeck piece” in the hope of getting rich quickly. Now, no apartment, no money, – the plot says.

The company’s investor Indira Batyrbekova appealed to the government.

We ask the Government to pay attention in time. Because the guide is still here. We will not wait for the management to wind up their affairs, sell everything that they have and drive away somewhere, ”she said.

It is noted that the point is that the client gives his money and waits for it to be returned with interest. And at first, people really did receive dividends and the number of depositors grew every day. Among the victims is Aliya Alimbaeva, she and her husband invested more than 2 million tenge in the company, then they wanted to return them. The newlyweds’ child urgently needed an operation. But the company just threw up their hands.

We said that our child is in critical condition, we need our money. We were denied a loan. At that moment, a pandemic had already begun, and our activities also came under restrictions and we were left without work and means of subsistence, – said the depositor Aliya Alimbaeva.

Investigators worked in the company’s office. The film crew, as well as the investors themselves, were not allowed into the building. However, the Almaty Police Department reported that a case has already been initiated.

At present, a pre-trial investigation is being carried out by the Investigation Department of the Almaty PD on the collective applications of the depositors. An interdepartmental investigative and operational group has been created. Authorized searches are underway in the company’s offices. In the course of a complex of investigative actions, carried out in strict observance of the principles of completeness, objectivity and comprehensiveness, the circumstances will be established, as well as a procedural decision will be made, – assured the official representative of the Almaty PD Saltanat Azirbek.

By the way, the victims have their own chat, in which people from almost all cities of Kazakhstan are sitting – only about 15 thousand people. So far, about 300 residents of Almaty have filed a complaint with the police.
