According to the new decree, the sanitary and epidemiological regime is softened: the operating hours of public catering facilities have been extended. If earlier they could receive visitors from 09:00 to 20:00, now – from 07:00 to 00:00 with no more than 50 seats. Canteen-type catering facilities, which were open from 09:00 to 00:00, are now allowed to work around the clock. Street food outlets (free-standing tents, stalls, kiosks) will be open without time limit.

The movement of interregional, intraregional, intercity buses and minibuses is resumed (except for Pavlodar – Aksu, Pavlodar – Kamenger, Pavlodar – Zangar).

Previously, the baths were open from 08:00 to 00:00, now they can work without restrictions. Saunas will also now operate without time limits, but with a suspension of work on Sundays. The relaxation of the regime will also affect the covered markets, for them the restriction of work on Saturdays and Sundays has been lifted.

The activities of previously closed cultural objects – theaters and cinemas, concert halls, are allowed, but with an occupancy rate of no more than 20%. Subject to the enhanced sanitary and disinfection regime, tourism objects can resume their activities.

Pupils of all classes of general education schools can study in a combined format, but with the number of children in a class not exceeding 25. Sports events are allowed with an occupancy rate of not more than 15%. The activity of religious sites is allowed without holding collective events and with an occupancy rate of no more than 15%.

At the same time, there remains a ban on holding spectacular, family, collective, corporate solemn (banquets, weddings, anniversaries, commemorations, etc.) events with a mass gathering of people (meetings, processions, exhibitions, conferences, demonstrations, etc.), as well as a ban on the rent of private households and buildings for mass corporate events. Entertainment facilities such as billiards, game and night clubs, bowling centers will not work yet.

The new regulation comes into force from 00:00 on May 25, 2021.
