Former presidential candidate of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovskaya excluded from the list and database of persons wanted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, according to zakon.kz.

According to RIA Novosti, when trying to find Tikhanovskaya in the database, the system’s response on the site says that there is no information on the request.

Svetlana Tikhanovskaya was added to the wanted list of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in October 2020. Subsequently, the department explained that they did not initiate criminal cases against the leader of the Belarusian opposition, its inclusion in the list is explained by the fact that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia is forming an interstate information bank on the basis of agreements on the exchange of data in the field of combating crime, concluded within the CIS.
