During his visit to Georgia, Polish President Andrzej Duda called for “forcing Russia to comply with the norms of international law” reports zakon.kz.

He said this at a briefing in Tbilisi, demanding that Russia withdraw the military from Abkhazia and South Ossetia, where they are stationed after the war in 2008, reports Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.

According to the Polish leader, Moscow’s actions in the political arena “require decisive action by the international community.” In this regard, Duda promised to raise the issue of relations with Moscow at sessions of the UN General Assembly and at the OSCE sites.

Earlier, the President of Poland, speaking at the Constitution Day of the country, called the Russian Federation “the enemy of freedom.”

Prior to that, Warsaw called Russia guilty of “aggravating relations with the international community.”

Russian leader Vladimir Putin responded by pointing out to Western politicians that the Russian threat was “an invention of those who want to profit from their role as a vanguard in the fight against Russia, to receive some bonuses and preferences for this.”

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin considers the rhetoric of the President of Poland unacceptable.
