The national team of Kazakhstan in the fourth match at the World Hockey Championship played against the team of Germany, reports zakon.kz.

According to sports.kz, the head coach of the Kazakhstani national team, Yuri Mikhailis, put in the following line-up: Boyarkin (Shutov) – Maklyukov-Ditz, Akolzin-Sagadeev-Shevchenko; Svedberg-Blacker, Mikhailis-Volk-Starchenko; Stepanenko-Shalapov, Shin-Shestakov-Rymarev; Petukhov-Orekhov, Panyukov-Likhotnikov-Savitsky.

It is noted that at the start, the German national team won three out of three victories and was the clear favorite.

The first period was left without goals. In the second period, the Kazakhstan national team (Alexander Shin) opened the score, and immediately after that the German team joined and won back through the efforts of Tom Künhackl. Then another puck against Nikita Boyarkin was not counted, but after that Markus Aizenschmid nevertheless brought his team forward. At the start of the final twenty minutes, the Kazakhstanis earned a bullet, which was realized by Roman Starchenko, and then Pavel Akolzin brought victory to Kazakhstan.

The score is 3: 2.

Kazakhstan will play its next match with Canada on May 28.
